Some people call it a wedding, we call it a celebration of our love
We want to celebrate our love together with you and therefore invite all our loved ones to share this special moment with us. This will not be a traditional wedding, so prepare yourself for a relaxed and casual atmosphere, comparable to a fancy, magical garden party.

How to get there:
Plane: At the terminal of Helsinki Vantaa airport follow the signs towards the train station, take the P train that leaves from track 1. Jump off at Tikkurila stop (Ticket BC 2,95€).
Public transportation: There are many trains and busses going to Tikkurila. From Tikkurila railwail station it is just a short 1km (14 min) walk to the wedding location.
Car: The address is Vanha Kuninkaalantie 2, 01300 Vantaa. There are some car parking spaces directly at the location. In addition there are some 12h parking spaces nearby as well as 24h parking spaces near the science center Heureka.

The shared passion for cakes is something that connected Teija and Nina from the very beginning. The cake buffet offers a selection of different cakes (mainly sweet, but also salty), so that everyone surely will find something they like.

Festive Fun
Prepare yourself for some casual mingling and some optional games and activities. Just go with the flow and enjoy yourself in the company of all the other awesome individuals!
Kids will have their own entertainment corner!

Dinner Buffet
You can expect a delicious vegetarian buffet. If you feel like giving a speech, this is your moment to shine! You can keep it in your preferred language, but of course English is the language we all understand.

Wish list
We decided that we don’t want any materialistic presents from you. Some of you guys have a long and expensive journey to this wedding so your attendance will be enough of a present for us <3
However, if you want to support us, there are some things you can do or bring.
Check out our wish list, in which you can “reserve” the task of your choice and see how you can contribute to our celebration of love.
Cakes
We will provide a strawberry-cream-wedding cake, some muffins and fruit plates. To make it a true cake buffet experience, we thought of a few other cakes, which you could bring. To make sure that everyone can taste every type of cake, it would be nice to have 3 cakes of each cake category. It would be awesome if there would be at least one cake in each category, which is taking the following allergies and eating habits into consideration: gluten, nuts, honey, lactose, vegan.
Please be aware that many of the guests are coming from abroad and have a long trip, which makes it impossible for them to bring cakes. So if you live nearby and want to put your name on the list, please consider first if you could bring one of the cakes.
Drinks
Mark your name and the amount you would like to bring. Everyone can decide for themselves how much they want to bring or if they want to bring anything.
Services & other materials
If you are a crafty person and want to help us with decorations or other handicrafts, please reach out to Teija for more information and instructions. P.S. There can be more than one person working on the same project.
The “working shifts” on the 26.07. will include decorating, hanging up things and making the place look nice, whereas the shift on the shift on 27.07. will include cleaning up, taking decorations down, washing dishes, etc. On Sunday there will be a small breakfast/ snacks available.
Safer space principles
As their will be a diverse mixture of awesome and unique individuals coming together, we want to make sure that everyone is feeling safe at our party. Therefor we ask you to please read and internalize the principles for safer spaces below.
Respect everyone, don’t assume things.
Don’t make assumptions about other people’s sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, socio-economic background, ability or health. Respect pronouns and names. Be aware of your own privileges.
Assume responsibility for your own actions and behaviour.
Remember that your actions affect other people, regardless of your good intentions.
Respect everyone’s personal space, both physical and mental.
You cannot know where another person’s boundaries lie without asking them. Make sure you ask before touching anyone. Listen to others and adapt your behaviour if someone indicates that your behaviour makes them feel uncomfortable.
No body discrimination.
Don’t comment on another person’s body. Also do not comment on other people’s eating and meal sizes.
Give space.
Do your best to ensure that everyone gets to participate in discussions. Don’t disregard other people’s opinions; give others the chance to speak. Respect the privacy of others and treat sensitive topics respectfully.
Respect the opinions, beliefs, experiences and differing viewpoints of others.
Don’t mock, ridicule, disparage, sideline or humiliate anyone with your words, behaviour or actions.
Don’t just remain an on-looker.
Intervene in harassment if you witness it, and ask the person who was harassed whether they would like help or support.
